Long before the “Van-Life” trend took off, there was the Volkswagon Van. While the iconic Vanagon has many charms, I opted to purchase a Volkswagon with more horsepower (a few more cylinders) and a few more “luxury” items. This 1997 Volkswagon Eurovan Camper version has everything you need for weekend excursions and even daily commutes. She seats 6 and sleeps 4 and is currently living in Sunnyvale California.

She has a 2.8 liter VR6 engine producing about 140 Hp. Original engine and transmission with ~164k miles. The towing capacity of 4,400 pounds (2in heavy duty hitch included). It has an automatic transmission, dual airbags (driver and passenger), and power door locks. Asking price $25,000 (taxes, transport, and license fees not included).

I forgot to mention it comes with a Yakima bike rack.

With only three owners in her past it is easy to track her entire history. She was first a New York van and was used for ministry service then she was purchased by a small family out of Maine. They had two children and enjoyed many camping and skiing adventures but their little family started to grow and they needed a bigger camper. That is when I found her and snapped her up. She has been a Cali van ever since 2005 and has never been in an accident. She has been on many adventures with us and the only reason I am selling her now is because I inherited my sisters van when she passed away and I can’t keep two of them.

Eudora is a unique treasure that has all of the original equipment that still works! The water faucet, the spray hose in the back, the stove, the Norcold fridge, the furnace heater are all original and they still work!

The interior is in excellent condition with all of the original upholstery and the marine grade floor. This flooring is amazing and will stand the test of time. The tri-fold mattress for the lower bunk and the two piece mattress for the top bunk are the originals and still in excellent condition.

Power sources

• 2 AC outlets, one by the stove and one in the back by the closet. These only work when plugged into the shoreline.
• 3 DC power jacks One at the dashboard, one by the stove, and one in the back by the closet. These work from the coach battery and when plugged into the shoreline.

There are a few extra accessories that come with this Eurovan. I already mentioned the Yakima bike rack for 2, but there are a few others that are worth pointing out.

• Sidewinder manual canopy with anchor stakes for the legs.
